160 years of history and so many amazing stories to share! 📹 As the landowner and steward of 38,000 acres on the Garden Island, @grovefarmkauai has been involved for generations in residential, commercial and industrial development as well as the conservation of vast areas of the island. For our latest video shoot, we visited tenants, vendors and partners whose businesses are thriving because of opportunities that Grove Farm has provided. #Kauai #SocialMedia #ContentCreation

Last week, Elena Medeiros Andersen, Natalie Cook, and Alan Tang attended the Hawaii Business Magazine 11th Annual Leadership Conference, and it was a day brimming with inspiration, innovation, and thought-provoking conversations! We had the privilege of engaging with Hawai‘i's distinguished business and community leaders throughout the day. One of the highlights was a CEO panel, where leaders shared meaningful stories about their journeys, offering memorable (and even humorous) insights. The breakout session on "Rediscovering Hawaii's Soul" was particularly powerful as we leaned in on Hawaiian values and explored how our actions today shape Hawaii's future. The keynote speaker, Dr. John Scott, head of design and strategy for MasterClass at Work focused on the concept of lateral thinking. He reminded us that you can't dig a different hole by digging the same hole deeper and provided insights about approaching solutions differently.

Thriving relationships are built on strong partnerships and shared values. We're proud to work with the Better Business Bureau Great West + Pacific (BBB) to partner with many esteemed organizations across Hawaii, and in a variety of industries. Together, we're creating new opportunities for BBB to serve the local business community, and laying the groundwork for innovative collaborations and shared expertise to come. Along the way, our team is learning more about trust when it comes to the relationship between businesses and consumers. We're happy to share how BBB shows up in meaningful ways, and to help tell the story about the power of achieving BBB accreditation. #OLISC #BBB #Partnerships #HawaiiLeaders #Trust

Last week, Alan Tang traveled to Japan to visit the ADEX, Nihon Keizai Advertising Company in Tokyo, one of the members in our ICOM Network. He spent the day meeting with Manabu Watanabe, a key director, as well as other account executives for various Japan brands, and the president of the agency, Mr. Nobuhiro Niwa. They discussed the possibilities of inbound and outbound opportunities for the Japan market. Alan has had a long relationship with ADEX and he also met up with Kazu Sugimoto, who now heads up the creative subsidiary at the agency. ADEX has been around for almost 80 years and is the fifth largest agency in Japan with an impressive roster of clients. Alan also attended the Aloha Festival in Kaze, an event which celebrates Hawai‘i culture through mele and hula, which is just one of many events that honor the close ties between Hawai‘i and Japan.

Last week O‘ahu hosted the 13th Festival of Pacific Arts and Culture (FestPAC) exhibition at the Honolulu Convention Center. It was an incredible once-in-a-lifetime experience for Hawai‘i, where 20 indigenous Pacific Island cultures came together to express their tradition in a vibrant display of dance and music performances, stunning artwork, and workshop demonstrations. We're very grateful to work and partner with @FestPacHawaii for our Honolulu Night Market and explore the deep connections that bind the Pacific Islands together. #FestPAC2024 #OLISC #CulturalEducation

Just a month ago, agency leaders from around the globe gathered together in Madrid for the annual ICOM World Meeting. We were treated to the very best in Spanish hospitality, thanks to host agency Darwin & Verne, while enjoying the privilege of being joined and inspired by industry heavyweights Fernando Machado, David C. Baker and Javier Campos. Thank you to everyone who made it such an unforgettable week. #ICOMnetwork

At the crossroads between Waikiki’s white sand beaches and Honolulu’s city life, the relaxed elegance of the Ilikai Hotel and Suites awaits. Our team was tasked with crafting compelling copy that captures the essence and story of the Ilikai experience: a "home away from home" nestled in a bustling town by the sea. Paired with stunning imagery, the new standalone website reflects the contemporary accommodations while resonating with the hotel's panoramic views. Congratulations to our ICOM agency partner Assemble & Partners and client Aqua-Aston Hospitality on the launch of the new site. ICOM Network #Honolulu #Travel #ICOMNetwork #ShareTheAloha

Our ICOM member, Cramer-Krasselt, hosted a panel discussion for AANHPI month with us and ADEX in Japan. Alan Tang represented our agency and Manabu Watanabe and Hanako Hashimoto represented ADEX. Cultural fluency was one of the important discussion points when it comes to working with businesses in other countries. Alan also shared about the importance of cultural fluency for U.S. mainland executives working here in Hawaii because of our unique local and Hawaiian culture. Much mahalo to Taylor Ellis and Craig Likhite for coordinating the panel. ICOM Network #AANHPIMonth #AANHPI #OLISC #AgencyLife
