As the largest school district on an island, Oak Harbor Public Schools is a special place to live and work. Oak Harbor is the proud home of Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, the largest naval installation in the Pacific Northwest. Oak Harbor Public Schools serves over 5,400 students with one high school, one middle school, one intermediate school, five elementary schools, a homeschool partnership and virtual academy, an early learning center, and transitional and alternative learning programs.
