On this episode, they help a caller learn to use an inherited tagine with MIddle Eastern & North African cooking techniques. By the end of the episode, they helped her build confidence (& delicious flavor of course) as she prepared a Braised Chicken with Harissa and Olives. For someone who keeps a constant stack of cookbooks on her nightstand, there is almost no greater honor than being included in a cookbook. I am proud to share that in 2023, we were featured in seven new cookbooks, including the NYT Best Cookbook of 2023, 'Tenderheart' by Hetty McKinnon, and 'Shabbat' by Adeena Sussman. We are grateful to these talented chefs for including our recipes or products (or both) in their books. We take pride in the educational aspect of our business, and it certainly helps to have the support of many wonderful authors sharing flavors like harissa, za'atar, and preserved lemon with their audiences.
We're thrilled to be back for our third time on the menu at Chopt Creative Salad Company Salad!! Our Signature Harissa is on the menu in the nearly 80 Chopt locations in the Ultimate Hummus Harissa Bowl, now through December. Last month, we did a stellar partnership with FultonFishMarket.com. We created so much great content created together to expose our customers to a range of new flavors and cooking techniques. It took us 5 years to prove that we deserve to go from 42 Whole Foods Market stores to 515 stores, but we did it!! This month, we are celebrating our nationwide launch at Whole Foods Market. This was by no means an easy path and it took every member of our team to make it a reality. You can find eight New York Shuk products - five of our spices and three condiments - on shelf across the country. Middle Eastern & North African flavors are far from having the place they deserve on supermarket shelves, but we are making headway, one amazing retail partner at a time. #wholefoodsmarket #celebrate
