#NELF advocates for a civil society based on rule of law. Just as we condemned the January 6 attack on the Capitol, we unequivocally condemn the attack against former President Donald Trump. It was a horrific act of violence that goes against everything we stand for as a country. Violence has no place in our political process. Period. We are grateful that former President Trump is safe. We are thankful for the swift and selfless action by the Secret Service. Our hearts are with President Trump and his family. We also grieve for the other victims of the attack and our hearts are with them and their loved ones.

The New England Legal Foundation was founded nearly 50 years ago by a group of corporate #GeneralCounsels and law firm #ManagingPartners to ensure that the perspective of #FreeEnterprise, #PropertyRights, #LimitedGovernment based on #RuleOfLaw, and #InclusiveGrowth was considered by state and federal judges as they created precedent that would apply to the business community for decades.
