Ohio is officially gearing up for recreational marijuana sales, with the Department of Commerce and Board of Pharmacy starting to issue licenses and certificates for cultivation, processing, and dispensaries. This move means we can expect sales to begin as early as this fall, with businesses already having started their preparations to launch. The introduction of recreational marijuana is anticipated to significantly boost the local economy and create a noteworthy amount of new jobs, with over 60 provisional dispensary licenses already issued.
