Let’s talk about tech. Technology keeps us informed, connected and entertained. It is a major part of our lives — it sometimes feels like we have an electronic device permanently attached to our hand given how often we are online (yes, even in the summertime). 📱 Unfortunately, electronic use can disrupt sleep in kids and teens. NSF recently convened an expert group of researchers to develop a consensus guideline for screen use and sleep. Are you refreshed and ready for each day after a good night’s sleep? How you perform during the daytime is usually a sign of how you’ve slept the night before. If you are practicing basic healthy sleep behaviors and are still not getting enough quality sleep it might be time to see a professional.
