It's National Intern Day, and we want to give a huge thank you to all of our interns! All of the work you do to help the Society find a cure is an important part of the journey. Our very own social media intern, Kristy Wu, is a junior at Washington State University studying Marketing and Communications. She says, "I am super excited to learn lots of new things from my amazing team, and I am looking forward to being able to contribute to a great cause and help the advocacy of MS." Whether in the space of helping our events come to life, helping spread the word via social media, or something else, we appreciate everything our interns do. #InternSpotlight: Today, we'd like to highlight our Legal Intern, Ree Hong! Coming from Seoul, Korea and studying at University of Minnesota Law School, Ree says she's very excited to learn and contribute to the Society from a legal perspective. "It offers a fantastic opportunity to learn how to mitigate legal risks and enhance compliance, ultimately serving our MS community better. The active communication and systematic teamwork within the legal team are truly inspiring! Also, my supervisor and teammates are amazing, always willing to help and advise, fostering growth and development for interns." The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the largest MS organization in the world, is pleased to announce Dr. Tim Coetzee as its new President and CEO following a robust search and rigorous selection process. Dr. Coetzee has 24 years of experience with the organization, most recently serving as Chief Advocacy, Services & Science Officer. Under his leadership, the Society will continue its mission to cure MS while helping those affected by MS live their best lives. Since its founding in 1946, the Society has united people living with MS, their families, healthcare professionals, researchers, advocates, policymakers, fundraisers and volunteers, paving the way for every effective MS treatment available today.
