The grant recipients for Hockey Fights Cancer's 25th Anniversary giving campaign each received $25,000 and were chosen in collaboration with the NHL and NHLPA. Many of these organizations were hyper-local and Player and Alumni-driven or supported organizations.
In celebration of 25 years of Hockey Fights Cancer, the NHL and NHLPA selected 11 organizations doing incredible work in the cancer space to receive grants toward their life-changing work. A total of $250,000 was granted. Here are the first five grant recipients.

Last week during NHL Club Business Meetings in Boston more than 140 attendees representing all 32 NHL Clubs and the NHL laced up their shoes and completed a beautiful route along the Charles River. The 2024 NHL CBM 5K Run/Walk is just one of more than two dozen 5K run/walk events that will be hosted by the NHL and NHL Clubs for nearly 1,800 employees across North America this summer.
