Colorado State University issued an updated 2024 Atlantic Hurricane Forecast today. Their forecast remains unchanged from April -- 23 named storms, with 5 of those being major hurricanes. This is in line with the NOAA May 23 forecast that also predicts an above-normal Atlantic hurricane season. https://lnkd.in/ef4-7TZ

The 2024 Atlantic Hurricane Season is forecasted to be extremely active, as predicted in Colorado State University's initial 2024 forecast. Their senior research scientist, Phil Klotzbach, is featured in Insurance Journal where he indicates that the most likely landing spots for this season's hurricanes are along the east coast of Florida and elsewhere on the Eastern Seaboard.
