MISLA- Made In South LA

MISLA is a Technology Bootcamp supported in part by Microsoft. We specialize in Digital Literacy training (web development/ software engineering/ video game programming, etc) for youth + adults in disinvested communities. MISLA is a fiscally sponsored project of Community Economic Development Corporation (CEDC), a Nevada nonprofit corporation, and registered 501(c)(3) organization, Tax ID (EIN) 88-0306149. We facilitate partnerships with local non-profits, coding academies and local entrepreneurs in order to decrease the diversity/ tech inclusion gap, increase economic stability within poverty-stricken communities, and battle the ill effects of gentrification in urban/ inner-city areas, starting with South Central Los Angeles. Some of our collective Bootcamps may include (but are not limited to) coding, software engineering, web design, cyber security, cryptocurrency, real estate + financial literacy, robotics, graphic design, film-making + editing, content creation, video game design, animation, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Mixed Reality, and other forms of digital literacy training.
