Did you know that the Boji Tower, formerly known as the Michigan National Bank Building, stands as City of Lansing, Michigan 's tallest building? 🏢 Located at 124 Allegan Street, this historic 23-story skyscraper has been a cornerstone of our city since its completion in 1931. Standing at 297 feet tall, this iconic structure is a symbol of Lansing's skyline. 📜 Initially named the Olds Tower after Ransom Eli Olds, it opened its doors on April 6, 1931, and was later renamed several times before becoming the Boji Tower in 2005. Martin's longstanding relationship with this landmark dates back to the early 1980s when it was the Michigan National Bank, before being acquired by the Boji Group in 1998. With its iconic Art Deco design, the Boji Tower stands as a testament to Lansing's architectural heritage and dominates the city's skyline. 🏙️ #LansingHistory #BojiTower #DowntownLansing #Cre #Martin

Did you know that the Michigan State Capitol 🏛️ we know today is actually the third Capitol building in Michigan's history? The first State Capitol, completed in 1828 in Detroit as the Territorial Courthouse, was one of Michigan’s earliest Greek Revival buildings. It served until 1847 when the capital moved to Lansing. Later, it became a public school and library until it was destroyed by fire in 1893. The second Capitol, built in 1847 in Lansing, was a temporary two-story frame structure with a tin cupola—a small dome-like structure. It was intended as a temporary solution until a more permanent Capitol could be built. Unfortunately, it was destroyed by fire in 1882. The third and current Capitol, designed by Elijah E. Myers, began construction in 1872 and was completed in 1879. It remains a symbol of Michigan's governance and history. #MichiganHistory #MichiganCapitol #LansingHistory
