On July 18, LYB joined Guangdong-US Multinational Enterprises Green Development CEO Dialogue in Guangzhou, China. The event was co-hosted by US-China Business Council and Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province. The event was also supported by the Energy Foundation, China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, China Association of Circular Economy and US-China Green Energy Council. The three-topic panel discussion convened senior business executives from Chinese and US companies, officials from governmental agencies and experts from industry associations. Key topics discussed: ▪️ Pathways to Guangdong’s energy transition ▪️ The role of carbon capture, utilization and storage ▪️ Best practices of a circular economy Limin Fu, Vice President of LyondellBasell China Joint Venture Management and Polyolefins, shared LYB strategy and goals in building a profitable Circular & Low Carbon Solutions (CLCS) business, highlighted our company’s footprint in China, which includes the GENOX LYB mechanical recycling JV in the Zhaoqing, Guangdong province, and emphasized the importance of joint efforts between local governments and enterprises across the entire value chain toward a circular economy. #LYB #CircularEconomy
