Join the Dutch Lounge at Nordic Life Science Days 2024! 🙌🏽 🇳🇱 “With over 40 Dutch service providers in life science at the Nordic Life Science Days 2023, we could see great opportunities targeting the large number of Nordic start-ups in biotech and medtech,” says Björn Ursing, Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Sweden. We aim is to repeat the success with a large Dutch presence and thereby increase the competitiveness of Dutch companies on the Nordic LSH market. The Nordic Life Science Days (NLSDays) is the premiere venue for doing business with Nordic life science companies and where new international connections are made in the Nordics. Major industry partners as well as VC's will be present. Submitting applications for PPP programs! 📣 Health~Holland invite parties to set up innovative research programs with the aim of developing sustainable, innovative products and services within the LSH sector through public-private partnerships (PPP) and thus contribute to the economic growth of the Netherlands. Approximately €40 million in PPP subsidy is available for this. Within a program, organizing parties can select PPP projects that contribute to the goals of the Top Sector Life Sciences & Health. Requirements: ◆ At least two independent Dutch entities will organize the program. ◆ Program budget between €500k and €5 million per program year for one to three consecutive years. ◆ Projects must meet the Health~Holland PPP requirements. Good news for some of our Venture Challenge Alumni: AVIGI Therapeutics, Fenix Therapeutics, 2ndb, D4 Diagnostics, XS Innovations and InnoFluidics all got granted the NWO Take-off Grant! 🎉 Take-off is a funding instrument, available to all scientific fields, that encourages activity and entrepreneurship within Dutch knowledge institutions. With this instrument, academic entrepreneurs – but also starters from universities of applied sciences (hbo) and starters who are making use of knowledge from institutions for Applied Research Organisations (TO2) – can bring their innovative research results to the market. Take-off is one of the instruments for knowledge utilisation which NWO implements together with ZonMw.
