We are proud to say we are prepared. These are two ways we are #DSCSAready We ensure data interoperability with our various partners. Across our book of business, we have encountered various stages of readiness among our commercial partners, who are navigating variable data requirements and formats. We know that each partner has different standards and software systems internally. By customizing a DSCSA-compliant system with each of our partners, we bring the flexibility so many companies need. Our warehouse management and tracking and tracing system are prepared. The are two primary projects we implemented to prepare for the DSCSA deadline. First, we made sure our warehouse software and systems are ready to receive and track client products. Second, we ensured that we are ready to exchange data with our clients and their customers' software and systems. The second project required extensive time working hands-on with our client’s IT teams to understand each other’s data needs. Today, we are prepared to track every individual case on every pallet that passes through our warehouse. We work closely with each customer’s electronic product code information services (EPCIS) information to process and track product information. We do this whether we’re shipping and/or storing a full pallet– or breaking a pallet down to ship partial components. We also equip our clients with information to ask partner organizations. This way, they can facilitate the smoothest possible electronic delivery of crucial information needed for compliance with the DSCSA. Going forward, we are prepared to consistently evolve. New exceptions and alterations are required in our process to support our client pharmaceutical product tracking and tracing needs, keep their product compliant in the market, and manage data exchange upstream and downstream for our clients. Increased cost pressures in healthcare driven by inflation and other factors create logistical challenges for healthcare manufacturers seeking to optimize their supply chains while maintaining product quality and safety. We suggest these three strategies to combat climbing costs and position your organization for success: 🔼 Commit to a Culture of Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess warehouse and distribution processes to flag inefficiencies and collect employee feedback to uncover opportunities for cost savings 🔼 Leverage Data Analytics Tools: Use technology to accurately predict demand and plan inventory levels, optimize warehouse layout, enhance coordination with partners, improve warehouse tracking, and optimize reverse logistics processes. 🔼 Outsource non-core warehousing and distribution functions to a specialized 3PL provider: An expert 3PL partner can offer scalability, cost savings, and access to specialized expertise.

Healthcare companies developing and launching new products often need storage space, and fast. Those who have explored setting up their own warehouse know that it takes time to build a facility that meets healthcare compliance standards. But often, companies do not have that long to wait. Achieving fast speed-to-operation time requires a multi-functional team that is well versed in the construction components needed to build a functional and cGMP-compliant facility. Accessing this type of expertise often requires outsourcing to a specialized team with pre-existing, certified warehouse space to store your products. Check out our existing strategic warehouse locations across the country today: https://lnkd.in/ghXg3fq4

Is your operation DSCSA-ready? The Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) is a federal law intended to enhance the security and traceability of prescription drugs throughout the supply chain. Signed into law in 2013, it was given a ten-year implementation timeline. However, the final implementation deadline was recently pushed by a year to November 27, 2024. Now, anyone who creates, packages, distributes, or dispenses prescription drugs has one more year to comply with the final phase of the rollout. We recently published a piece examining the evolution of DSCSA and why it is vitally important. Read on for our advice on preparing for DSCSA and/or choosing a third-party partner to help you achieve DSCSA compliance. Read on to ensure your team is prepared for next Fall’s deadline. https://lnkd.in/e55USqBC

Congratulations to our 2023 Leadership Academy Graduates! In order to graduate, these selected emerging leaders completed two separate weeks of in-person training throughout the year. During these training sessions, the graduates solve an LSL problem. This year, the team worked on identifying leakage and waste throughout the company and presented a Pipeline Passport Presentation on Civility in the Workplace.   We are proud of all you accomplished this year and we are glad to have you on the LSL team!
