Construction of a 36,000 SF border patrol station for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security continues. The Champlain Border Patrol Station will comprise of a 21,000 SF administrative and operations center, a 5,800 SF vehicle maintenance facility, a 16,000 SF enclosed parking garage, and 5,000 SF of covered storage. The building is designed to accommodate 50 border patrol agents and support staff. Interior metal framing and exterior wall insulation have been completed. Ongoing work includes: ◾ Roofing ◾ Drywall ◾ MEP rough-in ◾ Concrete structures ◾ Radio tower foundations In the coming weeks, the curtain wall and underground utilities will be installed.
