Happy National Intern Day! Working across many of our internal departments, KCS interns are an important and valued part of our workplace. We’re proud to celebrate the hard work and achievements of our current group of interns today and every day. Below are just a few of the many interns who have joined KCS this summer, pictured with their mentors who were once interns themselves.

Congratulations to the 2024 recipients of the “Pave the Keolis Way” scholarships! These scholarships offer our Keolis employees’ child dependents funding assistance for post-secondary education or trade school programs. KCS is proud to offer our employees opportunities that help them and their families pave the way toward a bright future.

In partnership with Four Corners Main Streets, community leaders, local officials, and KCS employees from across the company, we held a “Keolis Cares” station beautification event at Four Corners/Geneva Station on the Fairmount Line! Together, we planted flowers, added mulch, and cleaned up the station area for passengers and residents. A big thank you to everyone who came together to lend a hand! #KeolisCares #CommuterRail

Today marks our 10-year anniversary of operating the Commuter Rail in Massachusetts! Over the past decade, we have proudly connected communities and pioneered innovative solutions for our partners at the MBTA. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all our employees for their unwavering commitment and dedication. Every day, they ensure our passengers are safely connected to the people and places that are important to them. We also extend our gratitude to our passengers for choosing us as their mode of transportation. Thanks to you, the Commuter Rail network has rebounded to over 90% of its pre-pandemic ridership! To celebrate our passengers, members of our Customer Experience team handed out small goodies and swag items at North and South Station this morning. Amazing things are possible when Greater Bostonians have a transportation system they can rely on. KCS is proud to bring the communities we serve together and looks forward to continuing to serve with commitment and care. #10YearsKCS #CommuterRail

As we near the end of Pride Month, KCS reaffirms our responsibility and unwavering commitment to the LGBTQIA+ community. We strive to not only provide safe and reliable service, but to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all passengers and staff, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity – this month and every month. #PrideMonth

Last weekend, KCS participated in the Greater Fall River’s Kick-Off to Summer event, which serves over 3,000 community members every year! In partnership with Operation Lifesaver, Inc., we shared and distributed valuable information and resources to residents about the railroad and how to stay safe around trains and tracks. #OperationLifesaver #SeeTracksThinkTrain

Today is Juneteenth, the commemoration of the end of slavery in the United States.   At KCS, we recognize the importance of this day as a time to celebrate African American freedom, and reaffirm our responsibility and commitment to advancing racial equity.   A special thank you to our dedicated crews who are working today to connect our passengers to the people and places that mark this holiday of freedom and unity. #Juneteenth 

Last week, we celebrated our annual “Keolis Way Week” – a June tradition dedicated to our people, passengers, planet, and partners. In this spirit, we held a “Keolis Cares” station beautification event at Talbot Ave on the Fairmount Line! In partnership with the Fairmount Indigo Transit Coalition (FITC), community leaders, local officials and other neighborhood groups, KCS employees teamed up to plant flowers, mulch, and clean up the station area. Events like this are just one way that we demonstrate our commitment to making a positive impact in the communities served by Commuter Rail. #KeolisWayWeek
