Congratulations to the Judicial Innovation Fellowship (JIF) team on receiving two prestigious awards this month, honoring its dedication to leveraging tech talent to transform justice across state, local, territorial, and tribal courts! 🏆 The first award, the American Legal Technology Award in the "Court" category, honors organizations for outstanding use of innovation that brings significant benefits to the courts. Alexa LeBeouf from the Hamilton County Mayor's Office, one of JIF's valued project partners, accepted the award on JIF's behalf at an Oct. 8th ceremony in Nashville. "We are thrilled to receive this award just as we place our fellows around the country. It is a wonderful endorsement from industry leaders that we are on the right path," said JIF co-founder and founding director Jason Tashea. Tashea was also honored this month with the 2023 Oregon State Bar President's Award for Innovation and Technology, celebrating his efforts in leveraging technology to promote respect for the rule of law, improve the quality of legal services and increase access to justice in Oregon through his "40 Futures" podcast and leadership of JIF.
