In 2017, CEO and Founder, Tracy Mills, set out to create J29 with a mission to empower employees and give back to the community. For this reason, since inception, J29 tithes a portion of its earnings to various nonprofits and community efforts. When J29 received its first prime contract award, the Nikki Healy Memorial Scholarship Fund was created (link on our website, below). The scholarship fund was inspired by Nikki Healy’s courageous battle with cancer. Nikki's perspective on life, humor, strength, and faith touched the hearts of thousands across the country. Tracy saw an opportunity to honor Nikki's legacy by supporting those who face similar challenges, ensuring her spirit lives on through the gift of education. We are thrilled to announce that for the 2024-2025 academic year, J29 has awarded four academic scholarships through this nonprofit initiative! 🎓✨ We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the scholarship recipients and wish them a successful and inspiring academic year. May you find strength and hope from the challenges of a family member's cancer battle, knowing that you are not alone in this journey. The ability to award these scholarships would not be possible without the dedication and hard work of our incredible J29 team. We also extend our deepest gratitude to our valued customers, whose trust and support enable us to make such meaningful contributions to the community. Applications for the 2025-2026 academic year will open at the end of 2024. Stay tuned for more details! Thank you for being part of this journey with us. 💙 #J29 #NikkiHealyScholarship #GivingBack #CommunitySupport #Education #CancerAwareness #Empowerment

J29 Inc. has some exciting news to share! Today, J29 hosted it's internal company-wide meeting to go over company updates with our internal staff. With over 210 employees on the call, J29 also discussed its recent philanthropy involvement with Kids' Chance Of Massachusetts (KCMA) and welcomed guest speaker Amber Moody to share her story and the impact that KCMA has had on her three children and her. 📣After Amber spoke to our staff on our company-wide call, J29 announced a $10,000 donation commitment to Kids' Chance Of Massachusetts to help make a significant difference in the lives of affected families by providing scholarship support to help eligible students pursue and achieve their higher education goals.🎉 Amber lost her husband, Craig Moody, in 2021 after a work accident led to a fatal brain injury. Craig left behind three children who have since received support from KCMA over the years. J29 Inc.'s mission is to empower our employees to do great things for the benefit of others. As a healthcare management consulting company, our teams work hard supporting commercial, State, and Federal health and human service missions that then allow us to take our earnings and give back to great organizations such as Kids' Chance Of Massachusetts. #HopeForTheFuture | #GivingBack | #Philanthrophy

Recently, J29's VP of Claims Solutions Shawn Deane was interviewed by Business Insurance on the topic of reporting changes in Medicare liabilities within workers compensation claims. Expected to take effect in April of 2025, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will require responsible parties to report every and all Medicare Set-Asides to CMS, fining those is non-compliance. As a healthcare management consulting company that focuses on our claims processing capabilities as it relates to compliance, policy, and clinical analysis', J29 Inc. is ready to support entities with our Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) compliance service offering.

J29 was happy to be a matching donor sponsor for yesterday's 'Looking Ahead at Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services - Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO) for 2025 & Beyond', hosted by Shelley's Events. The 'Looking Ahead at CMS' event gave back to the The Nature Generation, a local non-profit who's mission is to inspire youth to make an environmental difference in the world. As an organization that 'tithes' a portion of its monthly earnings towards a non-profit, the J29 team was happy to have representation of Neil McClain, Nick Vass, and Tracy Mills onsite at the event.
