When writing scripts, the team at INDUSTRIAL STUDIOS recommends that that you remind yourself... "You are not pizza, you can't make everyone happy." A great piece of video content doesn't over reach! Don't try to appeal to a wide audience, achieve multiple marketing objectives, address new business initiatives, be entertaining, introduce new products, deliver a customer testimonial, and highlight core company values in one single video. Although you may have good intentions (and everything is critical to your success), your message will end up getting watered down, and you won't have the impact you are hoping for. Think about a video strategy that splits up your goals, with each piece of content having a more unique purpose. The possible downside for not including every single piece of valuable information in a single video is that a few departments might be a little disappointed.
