📣 ANNOUNCEMENT: The U.S.-Israel Binational Industrial R&D Foundation (BIRD) is investing $6.55 million in six innovative new projects selected during our recent Board of Governors meeting in Washington, D.C. This investment, combined with private-sector funding, brings the total project budget to $16 million, highlighting the significant potential of U.S.-Israel R&D collaborations. The current round focuses on notable advancements in the fields of environment, electro-optics, healthcare IT, and quantum computing. Congratulations to our latest grantees: 🔹 AES Embedded Solutions (Israel) and Gleason Corporation (Rochester, NY) - Developing a Smart Machine platform to provide real-time feedback on the machining process. 🔹 CyberRidge (Israel) and Molex (Lisle, IL) - Developing a next-gen optical key technology for post-quantum photonic layer encryption. 🔹 Datos Health (Israel) and Permanente Health Care Ventures (Portland, OR) - Developing a digital-first home-based pulmonary rehabilitation service. 🔹 Groundwork BioAg (Israel) and Indigo Agriculture Inc. (Boston, MA) - Developing a polymicrobial system combining mycorrhizal inoculants enabling carbon removal and bacterial inoculants enabling efficient nitrogen acquisition for emission reduction in Agriculture. 🔹 Quai.MD (Israel) and MUSC Health (Charleston, SC) - Developing and implementing a Clinical Process Automation Platform to guide providers in the emergency department. 🔹 Quantum Art (Israel) and BlueQubit Inc.
