Granite welcomes N5B Capital to Granite Place II at Southlake Town Square in Southlake, TX. The beautiful build-out blends traditional, modern and western elements. The interior was designed by REES with Abstract Construction as general contractor. N5B Capital is Granite’s joint venture equity partner at Granite Place II. When private equity firm N5B Capital established their headquarters in Southlake, Texas, they asked REES to design a high-end space reflecting the firm’s profile and clientele. The 12,000-square-foot office blends traditional elements with upscale, modern design. The lounge spaces offer an inviting atmosphere for casual conversation, while executive offices and partner workspaces accommodate focused work. He joined moderator, Tony Wilbert of CoStar Group and industry experts Kameshia L. Freeman of JLL, Alex Hancock of Howard Hughes Holdings Inc., and Brett Merz of KBS to talk about the state of the office market. Each year, Granite’s Leasing & Asset Manager, Zack Torres, uses most of his volunteering hours to support his family’s nonprofit for Stengel Field in Glendale, CA. “For over 28 years, my father has coached baseball at Crescenta Valley High School, my alma mater. As a former Dodger (and Astro) pitcher in the 80’s, my father cultivated a passion in our family for fostering competition and “team-first” mentality through sports. When Stengel Field, the neighborhood baseball park where the program practices and plays, deteriorated, our family and coaches felt a calling to bring our community together. My father established a nonprofit organization to revitalize the park. We raised enough funds, enabling us to build a new clubhouse, acquire modern equipment, and install laser-leveled turf, grass and sod. Today, Stengel Field stands as one of the premier public baseball fields in the state, less than 2 miles from Granite’s @TheBrand. We host a fundraiser baseball sports camp twice a year to support its upkeep and related programs, including junior programs with umpires, equipment and travel. This field, and the initiatives it supports, are very close to my heart. I am grateful to Granite for encouraging employees to volunteer and make a positive impact in their communities.” – Zack Torres

This unique architectural feature allows for sweeping views of Uptown and Downtown. 23Springs is designed by GFF, with DPR Construction as general contractor. L.A. Fuess Partners provided the structural engineering, including the X-brace columns.
