When Harold Summers, reliability manager at our corrugated facility in Martinsville, Virginia, identified a critical safety risk in a maintenance task, he dedicated nearly a decade to developing a solution– the threader winder machine. Summers' innovation began with one focus: making sure employees go home the way they showed up to work. It significantly reduces the risks associated with changing the massive double backer belts, while also increasing efficiency. We are proud to share that this innovation was recognized with the ‘Innovation in Safety’ Achievement Award from the Fibre Box Association. Read more: https://bit.ly/3xb4RIw
