I’m very eager to go back to Kentucky and do the work I’ve been intending to do since I was 18.” - Ella Helmuth, L’24 Meet Ella Helmuth, L’24, the Executive Editor of the Georgetown Environmental Law Review, a Blume Public Interest Scholar and a proud Kentuckian. Helmuth has been planning on dedicating her career to environmental law since she was a teenager. After graduation, she will join the Appalachian Citizens Law Ctr as an Equal Justice Works fellow and Water Rights Attorney, where she will work closely with the policy director to advocate for clean, affordable water on behalf of citizens. As we approach the #ClassOf2024 commencement celebrations, we’re honored to share stories from our graduating students. This week's Editor spotlight, and our last for Volume 36, is Paige Kendrick! Paige is a graduating 3L who will be Clerking at the DC Superior Court this Fall. In addition to being a Managing Editor of Development on GELR, she is the President of GULC's chapter of If/ When/ How. Paige is passionate about environmental law and policy, especially in the transportation space, particularly aviation. Paige loves staying active and hiking with her Scottish Terrier, Angus.

This week’s Editor Spotlight is Taylor Fisher! Taylor is a 3L at Georgetown and Executive Editor on GELR. Originally from Iowa, Taylor graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts in International Relations from Drake University. Taylor is looking forward to graduating in May and joining the 2024 Associate Class at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP. In her free time, Taylor enjoys listening to Taylor Swift, building puzzles, and hanging with her cat, Maia.
