"VLP brought together an excellent group of a variety of organizations – a 'team of teams' approach to addressing the integrated problems around military family transition. The partnerships and friendships that came from VLP not only changed my personal approach to collaboration, but also informed how we go about community-level partnerships as an organization." — Ross Dickman, 2021 #StandTo Veteran Leadership Program Scholar and CEO of Hire Heroes USA More on his work to create better employment outcomes for veterans and military spouses: https://lnkd.in/e4cg87Fx

"We need the people in our country who challenge us in various ways – socially, ideologically, intellectually – even when it’s unpleasant. They better equip us to preserve social peace and find solutions to common issues by forcing us to consider, even empathize with, different perspectives," says Bush Institute's Christopher Walsh on #civility.
