OUR MISSION To deliver efficient, high-impact service to every resident and visitor of Fulton County. VISION STATEMENT Fulton County is a positive, diverse community with thriving economy, safe neighborhoods, healthy residents, and a rich quality of life that all people can enjoy. It is served by a County government that is recognized for being innovative, efficient, effective and trustworthy. STRATEGIC PRIORITY AREAS - OUR COUNTYWIDE GOALS To accomplish our mission and work toward our vision, the Boar dof Commissioners identified six Strategic Priority Areas that reflect the major goals of the government. Fulton County is one of many actors within a system of multiple governments that serve the County's residents. In order to have the greatest impact, we intend to collaborate with partners in the public, private and nonprofit sectors to ensure that "all people," regardless of where they live in the County, can achieve these goals: All People Are Safe All People Are Healthy All People Are Self-Sufficient All People Have Economic Opportunities All People Are Culturally And Recreationally Enriched All People Trust Government is Efficient, Effective and Fiscally Sound

    The 2024 Summer Olympic Games are in full swing in Paris, France! Meet these incredible #TeamUSA athletes from Fulton County and let's cheer them on! Caleb Wiley, an Atlanta native and former Atlanta United player, will compete in soccer. Christopher Eubanks, also from Atlanta, honed his tennis skills at Westlake High School and Georgia Tech. He’ll be competing in tennis. Anthony Edwards, who played basketball at Therrell High School, Holy Spirit Prep, and UGA, will showcase his talents in basketball. We also have three Fulton County stars in Track & Field: Chris Bailey, from Atlanta and a Carver High School alumnus, will run the 400m. Christian Coleman, an Atlanta native, is part of the relay pool. Jasmine Jones, born in Atlanta, will compete in the 400m hurdles.     Reminder: August 2 is 2024 Property Assessment Appeals Deadline As required by Georgia law, annual notices of assessment were mailed to all Fulton County property owners in June. Property owners who do not believe their notice of assessment reflects fair market value have until August 2, 2024 to file an appeal. Appeals may be submitted online or at the offices of the Fulton County Board of Assessors. Property owners can review their 2024 notice or assessment, file an appeal or get more information at www.fultonassessor.org.
