Time for Change! Ahoy, Freedom Waters Foundation's Family and Friends, 2024 is going to be another year of growth and change for Freedom Waters Foundation. It is with pleasure and great excitement that I inform you, that after 18 ½ years of leading this incredible organization, I have proposed to the Board of Directors that we seek Freedom Waters Foundation’s next Executive Director.  Having built Freedom Waters Foundation from a place of having only $1000 in my bank account and no clue what I was doing, I am in awe of where the organization is today. I couldn’t have done it without you, and so many others along the way! The process to hire a new Executive Director has begun with my transition proposal presented to the Board of Directors and their acceptance. The plan we have agreed upon is for me to move into the position of the Director of Development once the Executive Director is in place and to remain on the Board of Directors. This will help to make for a successful transition of leadership and responsibilities. We have hired Soukup Strategic Solutions to facilitate the Executive Director hiring process led by four of our Board members. This is an incredible opportunity for Freedom Waters Foundation, allowing the organization to gain new expertise and energy to continue growing its programs and impact with consistency in quality and loving care. I look forward to working with the next Executive Director as this person brings new perspective, expertise, and ideas to lead Freedom Waters Foundation into the future. And, I also look forward to a little more time for the simple joys in life, family and friends, for me.
