Rain showers did not wash away the fun last Thursday at Typhoon Texas Waterpark for a large group of students and staff from our Learning Centers. Some of the students even got to meet their pen pals! It was a great way to wrap up the Summer Program. Don't forget it's not too late to support our highly successful Learning Center program by donating at foundcom.org/btsd.

We have extended the time to donate to our annual Back to School Drive through Friday, August 2nd because we are still well below our goal of $100,000. That means you have more time to make a donation at foundcom.org/btsd to support the students in our 16 on-site Learning Centers. Please do so today. Your donations will help us purchase backpacks, supplies, healthy meals and access to technology to help students continue to excel in school. Thank you!

We are still incredibly far from our goal of raising $100,000 for our annual Back to School Drive, and today is the final day! Let's see how close we can get with a big final push. Donate today at foundcom.org/btsd. It's worth it to make sure the students in our 16 on-site Learning Centers have everything they need for another successful school year. Thank you for supporting them!

For the Summer program at our on-site Learning Centers, the theme has been "The Future is Now" as they focused on STEAM, Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. This video shows some budding engineers designing and building cardboard roller coasters at Southwest Trails. Please don't forget to support the programs at our 16 Learning Centers by donating to our Back to School Drive at foundcom.org/btsd.

We are currently less than 25 percent of the way toward our goal of raising $100,000 for our Back to School Drive... with less than two days to go! Please take a moment from your busy day to make a donation at foundcom.org/btsd. Our Learning Centers always serve healthy snacks to students as soon as they arrive from school. It raises their energy level and ability to focus on learning and having fun.

We are still well short of our $100,000 goal for our Back to School Drive. Please donate today at foundcom.org/btsd, and share our posts with your friends. Your donations help us keep our 16 on-site Learning Centers stocked with school supplies, not only for our After-School and Summer programs, but to make sure our students always have the supplies they need to continue to excel in school.

Our children are growing up in an age of innovation. That's why Foundation Communities strives to equip our on-site Learning Centers with technological devices. Your donation at foundcom.org/btsd during our Back to School Drive this week will not only help students excel in school, but also prepare them for the jobs of the future. Please help us reach our goal of raising $100,000 by donating and sharing these posts with your friends. Thank you!

We're excited about our new partnership with Mary Lee Foundation, a longtime Austin advocate for people living with disabilities and others. We're taking over and redeveloping most of the affordable housing on Lamar Square, Mary Lee's home, renovating existing apartments and building another 400! Read more about it at foundcom.org/blog.
