They’re in high-traffic areas – North Lamar and Koenig and I-35 at Braker Ln – and just in time for our remaining FAFSA application events. Rain showers did not wash away the fun last Thursday at Typhoon Texas Waterpark for a large group of students and staff from our Learning Centers. Some of the students even got to meet their pen pals! It was a great way to wrap up the Summer Program. Don't forget it's not too late to support our highly successful Learning Center program by donating at foundcom.org/btsd.

We have extended the time to donate to our annual Back to School Drive through Friday, August 2nd because we are still well below our goal of $100,000. For the Summer program at our on-site Learning Centers, the theme has been "The Future is Now" as they focused on STEAM, Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. This video shows some budding engineers designing and building cardboard roller coasters at Southwest Trails. We're excited about our new partnership with Mary Lee Foundation, a longtime Austin advocate for people living with disabilities and others.
