Wealth management professionals across the industry by and large are dissatisfied with the current political climate, according to data from Financial Planning. Roughly 87% of respondents to a recent survey said they were either very or somewhat dissatisfied with today’s political landscape. However, 67% of respondents are trustful of the upcoming election’s results reflecting public sentiment, ranging from somewhat to extremely confident. Should those results be contested, approximately 45% of wealth management respondents say there will be a somewhat to very negative short-term impact on their organization’s ability to progress towards crucial business benchmarks.
