Communities Without Limits

About us

Our Mission Family Services brings people together to find the support they need, improving their lives and communities, and building a stronger, safer Hudson Valley. Founded in 1879, Family Services brings people together to find the support they need, improving their lives and communities, and building a stronger, safer Hudson Valley. Our program areas include Behavioral Health, Victim Services, Family Programs, Youth Services, Community Safety, and Prevention. Last year, over 17,000 children, adults, and families benefited from Family Services programs in Dutchess, Ulster, and Orange counties. Family Services also manages the Family Partnership Center as a location where the community can come together for conversation and the exchange of ideas, participate in athletics and arts programming, and where a variety of nonprofits and related organizations can co-locate and collaborate to offer enhanced services that create real access. Last year over 70,000 people took advantage of services or activities on this 100,000+ square foot campus.

As a provider of multiple services throughout Dutchess, Orange and Ulster Counties, we recognize that the needs of children, adults and families do not stop during a crisis such as the one that our Nation and the World is experiencing right now. Family Services cares and we are here to help even as we have put practices in place that reduce the person to person contact. Under guidance from the CDC as well as local and state health professionals, starting Friday March 20th, Family Services staff will be working from home. We are committed to meeting the needs of our clients and community partners remotely, and in a few limited circumstances, still continuing face to face services as needed. Due to the nature of some programming taking place in locations that are closed, those services are suspended. To keep our community up to date on Family Services programs and their status of availability, we have established a page on our website that can be viewed here: https://lnkd.in/dn68Hk8

We are incredibly grateful for Key Bank's donation in support of our Teen Resource Activity Center! Rita, Irenee and Anthony came to visit the program last week and brought much more than their donation. They were inspirational and amazing with the kids! We cannot do this work alone and are so appreciative. Thank You Key Bank!
