BCBAs! Envision yourself two years from now... now reflect on that journey 💭 What professional milestones have you reached? How did mentorship contribute to attaining those milestones? While a mentor is often seen as someone who guides and supports a less experienced person, I have discovered that mentors can also be peers who not only share, but enhance my experience as a ABA practitioner! These mentors have ELEVATED me through encouraging meaningful conversations, posing challenging questions, finding solutions, and helping me become a more thoughtful, compassionate, and inspired BCBA and individual 💖 Through mentorship, I have far surpassed where I saw myself two years ago! Without these key people I would not have had the opportunity to be in here in the position where: 💠 I get to meet incredible BCBAs to harness their potential and grow our talent. 💠 I host speaking events for patients and practitioners to help inform them about their own journey in treatment of ASD or growing as a practitioner. 💠I helped curate a groundbreaking BCBA Bridge Training Series to educate on the gaps between academia to insurance-based ABA services. All this to say…find mentors who not only help you reach your goals but encourage you to EXCEED them. I am incredibly fortunate to have found such amazing mentors at Encore Support Services that I collaborate with on a weekly basis! This consistent support and inspiration leave me feeling invigorated 💡 energized ⚡and motivated to reach the new goals I have set for myself.
