    Today, we’re celebrating the amazing journey of one of my Elevate and Thrive clients, Amber! 🥳 I’m beyond proud of all of her hard work, which resulted in a transformation beyond just physical. Life threw curveballs being a busy mom during the school year, but she handled them with grace and focused on what could be done, not what she couldn’t do. We worked on adopting the mindset of progress over perfection which helped her maintain healthy habits that led to her success! 🙌 Here’s to moving forward with confidence, armed with healthy habits and the knowledge to navigating any phase of life.   • Happy May moms! I will be hosting two Mommy & Me workouts this month. These workouts will be located in the upstairs classroom at the Well and are FREE to attend. They are perfect for ages 3 months to 5 years. Whether your kid loves to play or wants to join in, we’ve got something for everyone.   • Happy international women’s day to all the incredible women out there! 🦋 I feel as women, we can be super hard on ourselves about what we look like. Society and media has taught us at a very young age, we are only worth as much as our physical appearances. 😢 I’m here to remind you, you are more than your physical appearance. You are more than the weight on the scale. And you are more than what your body looks like. 😍 With that being said, exercise and good nutrition isn’t all about what you look like - it’s a way of loving ourselves and our bodies that make us capable of so much! 🙌 I hate that society has made us feel that fitness and nutrition is only for those who want to be skinny when in reality fitness and nutrition is for EVERYONE. We only have one life, why waste it not being the best and most healthiest versions of ourselves? 🤩 Living a healthy lifestyle isn’t about what you LOOK like, it’s how you FEEL. The physical benefits you get from a good diet and exercise is just a bonus. 💪 Body positivity isn’t about promoting bad nutrition and anti-exercise. It’s about empowering women to take care of themselves and love their bodies regardless of what they look like.👏 I’m so grateful for my health, to be a women and the ability to spread my message here to other women!   • I’m so excited to announce I will be offering Mommy & Me fitness classes FREE to the public of the Oklahoma metro area. Our first class will be Sunday, March 24th at 11AM. Whether your baby loves to play or wants to join in, we’ve got something for everyone. If they can hold their head up, they can be part of the action, snuggled in a baby chest carrier, or right by your side. We will start with some warm-up moves, get our hearts racing with a strength focused workout, and then cool down with stretches. It's a great way to stay active and spend some quality time together.   • Happy Valentines day everyone! 😍 If you been following for awhile, you probably know Elevate and Thrive Wellness is ALL about self love and our online coaching program focuses heavily on this concept. I believe it’s the foundation of success in a health and fitness journey and it’s something I teach every single day with my clients. Why? Because I believe the most important relationship you have in this life… is the one with yourself ❤️ As a society, we have put a lot of pressure and importance on romantic type of love instead of all the love around you and most importantly the love for YOURSELF. Love is literally EVERYWHERE and it all starts within YOU! 🙌 Loving yourself first, is the secret to finding true love in others.   • I asked one of my amazing clients after a year of working together for a testimonial and this is what she had to say “I can not say enough good things about Shannon’s Elevate and Thrive Wellness Program, but to scratch the surface...When I joined Shannon’s program, I was struggling with my self-image and couldn’t find a way of eating or exercising that was getting me any closer to feeling better about myself. Out of this program, I was hoping to get a slimmer body and a flat stomach. What I wound up getting was much more. Shannon helped me find deeper connection and peace with my body, a better relationship with food and understanding of nutrition, and taught me how to switch up my lifting exercises to build muscle and get stronger. Shannon has an excellent system for online coaching. She is very responsive and thorough in all of her replies. If I ask how to do a lift, she responds with a video of her doing that lift.
