We're hiring Reservation Consultants for our September start date! Interested in seeing what this role is all about? Let's hear from one of our very own Reservation Consultants, Jacob Sanchez who has been with us for 1.5 years now: Q: What is something you love about your role as a Reservation Consultant? A: There are two things I love about role. One thing is getting to work with so many different types of travelers. On any given day I may work with couples travelling internationally for the first time, childhood best friends checking off their bucket list together, or social media lovers travelling with their favorite influencer. Despite their different backgrounds and travel destinations, they all share a unique joy and excitement for the experience ahead of them. Another thing I love about the role is how new it is. The Reservation Consultant role has been around just 3 months longer than I have been. As a result, we are always finding new ways to impact the business, and as a team we get to brainstorm and embrace a student mentality when discovering new ways to drive sales for the group sales department. Q: What is something unique about the Reservation Consultant role? A: Something unique about the role is it takes the best of the groups, and individual sales departments and combines them into one role. As a Reservation Consultant we have the benefits of a short sales cycle but get to work with the Tour Consultant and Account Manager to tailor our pitch to the organization or community that the group is apart of, be it a religious group visiting the Vatican, a girls trip to Greece, or an adventure to Kenya for 25 ladies that bonded over fly fishing! Attention Sophomores and Juniors in college! We're currently hiring for our Summer Sales Internship, and we've had a chat with Kelly O'Leary, a former sales intern who later joined our sales team full-time, to learn about her internship experience: Q: What is something you enjoyed about our Summer Sales Internship? A: I really enjoyed how the second I showed up on my first day everyone made me feel so welcome. I knew that I would have all the support I needed in starting my career. No matter what there was ALWAYS someone to lend a helping hand. The atmosphere of EF is incredible and the energy from the team and the EF community was really comforting. I knew that this was the environment I wanted to be in. Q: What is some advice for future Summer Sales Interns? A: My advice would be it's okay to feel a little lost. On my first day I was incredibly overwhelmed with meeting everyone in the office and learning about the role, I felt like I was never going to succeed. You truly do learn more and more each day, and everyone is there to cheer you on through your professional development. Being open to feedback is huge for this role as well, it's helpful to ask your teammates what works for them and what doesn’t, and to check in with your managers and trainers. A little self-reflection can go a long way! Q: You were able to find success in the internship position and got hired for our full-time sales role! How were you able to do that and what do you love about your role currently? A: I truly believe my success came from my team! I constantly asked questions and was eager to learn more about the role and what was going to work best for me. As my internship came to an end, I really looked back to my first day and realized how far I've come and how much I learned. I grew more confident in my abilities and skills, I also built amazing relationships with my teammates. I knew that EF was a perfect place for me to continue to grow in my career. Sound like this internship could be up your alley? Learn more and apply here: https://lnkd.in/epZcx2Q

We're hiring Regional Trip Consultants for our June start date! Interested in seeing what this role is all about? Let's hear from one of our very own Senior Regional Trip Consultants, Mike Brown who has been with us for 2 years now and at EF for a total of 4 years.: Q: What is something you love about your role as a Regional Trip Consultant? A: I love being able to talk about exciting destinations while sharing my knowledge and passion for travel. Spending time talking about the joys of being on a catamaran in Santorini is a normal part of my job and I wouldn't have it any other way.   Q: What is something unique about the Regional Trip Consultant role? A: You work with your Group Coordinators on recruitment plans which means that you get to work with them longer than just making the initial sale. This leads to some great relationships and a more personal connection than you find in other sales roles. Sound like something you'd be interested in?
