After an incredible record-setting 2023, World Financial Group (WFG) is off and running in 2024! Today, our Executive Director Nicola Corzine was interviewed on Bloomberg News sharing "Why Women Entrepreneurs Find Success When They Get Older." Watch: https://lnkd.in/gBg3aUZn Nicola discussed findings from the "Lived Experience Research for Women Business Owners." The report was released with support from the Wells Fargo Foundation. She spoke with Ed Ludlow and Caroline Hyde on "Bloomberg Technology." Using quantitative and qualitative research methods the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center, Penn State University, and the University of California, Berkeley captured the lived experiences of Women Business Owners (WBOs) across multiple social, cultural, and environmental factors. Our research catalyzed a deeper understanding of how the lived experiences of women business owners influence success factors. This analysis produced unexpected results including a reverse correlation between pressure (i.e., paying rent or mortgage) and success (speed to cash flow break-even). Additionally, the top positive factor for Speed to Cash Flow Break-Even was paying yourself!
