If you know me, you know I love a great diagram... Doss is hiring for SALES and MARKETING roles to help out Bala P. and myself and instead of just linking you the JDs, I'm going to explain how our opinion on what we need has changed over the last year 1. We've split out Growth into 3 core areas - Demand gen (get us in front of qualified buyers with the problems we solve) - Selling (help customers, full stop) - Nurturing (show people what Doss can do as we build) 2. Closing / Selling / Onboard are all the same thing to us - So much of our work boils down to deeply understanding our customers - The act of selling is indistinguishable from building solutions for our customers that actually WORK 3. Product thinkers (i.e. PMs) are the people you want doing customer onboarding, support, and solution selling. - This is controversial, but I just think that product obsessed people make better decisions at every step of this funnel. If I could hire a traditional PM-type that can sell, loves talking to customers / understanding their problems, can manage the project of a solution rollout... what else do I need to successfully onboard a customer????
