Thank you to Karyn Kravetz from the Mental Health and Recovery Board of Portage County for providing training to Delta employees during May’s Mental Health Awareness Month! Training covered options available for the community within the county and highlighted the need to beat the stigma when it comes to seeking out mental health services.

Starting in 2016 with an employee suggestion, employees of Delta Systems collect and donate their empty pill bottles. Delta forwards the collected bottles to Matthew 25: Ministries, who distributes them in countries that lack the modern conveniences that we take for granted, such as receiving medicine in an appropriate pill bottle. Since 2021, employees have donated more than 400 bottles each year. “This program helps those in need and is better than throwing the bottles in the trash,” said one employee.
