The Defense Information Systems Agency, DISA, is a combat support agency of the Department of Defense. DISA provides, operates, and assures command and control and information-sharing capabilities and a globally accessible enterprise information infrastructure in direct support to joint warfighters, national level leaders, and other mission and coalition partners across the full spectrum of military operations. The agency is composed of 19,000 civilian employees, active duty military personnel, and defense contractors. OUR MISSION To conduct DODIN operations for the joint warfighter to enable lethality across all warfighting domains in defense of our Nation.     Join us in congratulating US Army Col. Tilisha C. Lockley on taking command of DISA Europe! Prior to this role, Lockley worked in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office. United States Air Force Lt. Gen. Robert J. Skinner, DISA director and JFHQ-DODIN commander, noted in his speech at the ceremony that Lockley's experience with AI will pay dividends in her new role as DISA Europe focuses on building out cloud capabilities and connectivity to enable AI and machine learning. Lockley assumed command July 9 as former DISA Europe Commander Army Col. Diane E. Klein moved on to her next assignment with the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) as the Head of Executive Management for the NCIA General Manager in Brussels, Belgium.
