The CSS had an extensive security presence with dozens of trained volunteers alongside law enforcement and UJA-Federation of New York and #JCRC-NY’s #CSI led by Mitch Silber to keep the Jewish community safe at Sunday’s Israel Day Parade in Manhattan. Thank you to our volunteers and staff as well as the New York City Police Department #NYPD.

Our CEO Richard Priem connected with The Record to discuss NJOHSP’s latest initiative to equip #NewJersey houses of worship with kits that contain emergency supplies in the event of an attack. "We have seen an unprecedented uptick in antisemitic incidents since the Oct. 7 attacks in Israel, including those that directly affected synagogues in our network. Although our priority remains to work with law enforcement on preventing serious incidents from materializing, increasing our institutions' preparedness for active threat situations with these medical kits is an important and welcome step as well.” Full story below 👇 https://lnkd.in/eC5JKTyB
