Intern Spotlight: KEEGAN! Keegan is a field engineer intern with us this year. He is currently studying at Iowa State University. Keegan started his internship alongside his mentor Garrett helping with the preconstruction side of thing, including submittals, comparing vendor pricing, PO's and subcontracts and also did some foundation takeoffs. He spent the second half of his internship working alongside Abe & Colton to engage in pre-pour inspections, tracking infield progress and authoring RFIs related to field work. Soar to new heights of knowledge! The CSI interns visited the Concrete Supply of Illinois batch plant to gain a deeper understanding of concrete mix designs and the daily process of trucks being loaded. They also witnessed a spectacular blast of over 35,000 tons of rock in the pit at the Dupo Rock Quarry, providing a comprehensive insight into the industry's functioning. 1, 2, 3 - blast off!

Intern Spotlight: ZACHARY! Zachary is a field engineer intern with us this year. He is currently studying at the University of Missouri - Columbia. As a field engineer intern, Zach has worked alongside his mentor Andrew to help form and strip paving pours, form and strip dock pits, set up pour backs, set up ramp footings and walls, along with help with documentation of scopes and perform project take offs. Intern Spotlight: EVAN! Evan is a field engineer intern with us this year. He is currently studying at Missouri S&T. He has been working with his mentor Lamar at Project Hankook in Clarksville, TN. Evan has taken a major role in leading our QAQC charge at project Hankook. Prior to pouring foundations, Evan has ensured that anchor bolt templates were installed per the shop drawings, orientation of baseplates are correct, and projection of bolts are within tolerance. Evan has also lead the charge in inventorying the various embeds and anchors bolts upon delivery to site. #m2tp #moretothepour #intern
