I had an incredible time volunteering at The Allstate Foundation Flash Consulting Day yesterday! This was my second time participating in this fantastic event, and I was thrilled to take on the role of team lead. I had the privilege of working with the Lauren H. Collins Wellness non-profit organization, where we focused on developing comprehensive social media and content strategies aimed at boosting engagement and raising awareness about their mission. I had a great experience with my team! They were an incredibly talented group of experts, and I couldn’t have asked for a better group to spend the day with. I truly appreciated the dedication and care each of them put into their part of the project. Collaborating with Allstaters and Bumble Inc. was a fantastic match-up! I am deeply grateful to Common Impact for organizing such an amazing event. It provided a wonderful opportunity for learning, fostering community connections, and personal growth. The experience was truly enriching, and I look forward to participating in future events! 👏

We recently wrapped up our Spring Skills-Based Service Series with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, where dedicated volunteers supported our Health Justice Nonprofits. Natalie Williams FSA, MAAA and her team worked with the Cape Cod Council Of Churches (CCCC), an incredible organization empowering others through a partnership of Christian ministries. The project focused on developing a benefits framework for CCCC’s staff. The volunteers, including Natalie, supported CCCC in understanding how to identify and systematically compare benefits offerings. This collaboration highlights the powerful impact of skills-based volunteering. Thank you, Natalie and all the volunteers, for making a difference and supporting our community partners! #SkillsBasedVolunteering #HealthJustice #VolunteerImpact #CSR #CorporateSocialResponsibility

Our recent Spring Skills-Based Service Series with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts featured dedicated volunteers supporting BCBSMA's health justice partners. One of the incredible nonprofits leaders we collaborated with was Elizabeth Wiley Executive Director at The Marion Institute, Inc. (TMI). TMI is committed to engaging individuals and communities in root-cause solutions that elevate health, food, and environmental equity for all. During this event, Blue Cross Blue Shield volunteers helped TMI enhance their Impact Storytelling Strategy and assessed TMI’s program data and communications content, providing key recommendations to measure and report on impact metrics like quality of life, health outcomes, and the affordability and availability of local, nutritious food. This collaboration is a testament to the power of skills-based volunteering in driving meaningful change and supporting our community partners. Thank you to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts and all the dedicated volunteers for making a difference! #SkillsBasedVolunteering #CSR #CorporateResponsibility #EmployeeEngagement #Volunteer #HealthJustice
