As we celebrate #NationalInternDay today, we’re not only thankful for our summer interns’ contributions at the office, but also their dedication to giving back in the communities where we live and work. Across the United States, our interns have spent over 150 hours helping out organizations like Ronald McDonald House Charities, Bonton Farms and Clear Lake Food Pantry. We’re looking forward to having a front row seat to the impact they’ll continue to drive the rest of the summer! #CelaneseCares #ChemistryOfUs

Our BOLD employee resource group hosted an event dedicated to the history, significance and celebration of #Juneteenth. Employees immersed themselves in an art and music walk, were educated on both the Texas and larger United States history of this observance and got to enjoy snacks from local Black-owned businesses. Thank you to the Irving Art Center, Irving Black Art Council, After8toEducate, Best Pie Lady, Lala’s Desserts and artists Don O’Bannon, Frank Sowells and Jacqueline V. Jackson for joining us and helping shed a light on the continuous fight for #racialequality and the perseverance of the Black community.

Earlier this month, employees across our German Celanese locations joined 63,000 runners from more than 100 companies to compete in the 30th J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge in Frankfurt. The event supported two organizations: Laureus Sport for Good Foundation, an NGO committed to solving challenges for children and young adults such as education, inclusion and health with the help of sports programs; and the DBSJ, the youth organization of the German National Paralympic Committee, which initiates sports and educational activities for young athletes with disabilities and people who volunteer. Congratulations to the Celanese runner team who collected a total of 805 volunteer hours with their involvement in support of the above organizations! #CelaneseCares #ChemistryOfUs
