Caregiving is often a 24/7/365 role and can take a significant toll on a caregiver's well-being: physically, emotionally, and mentally. To avoid caregiver burnout, it's important for caregivers to find balance between maintaining their personal lives and caregiving duties. If that sounds easier said than done, there are several places caregivers can start to find that balance: ➡ Find time for activities that bring you joy ➡ Stay connected with your loved ones ➡ Keep track of the good days Visit Careforth's latest blog for additional resources and practical suggestions that caregivers can use to find balance: https://lnkd.in/dpMiEpuh

The social impacts of caregiving can often take a backseat to the practical realities and tasks required of caregivers. However, its no less important in helping prevent caregiver burnout. Caregiving can have a notable effect on relationships with friends and family outside the household, including a lack of understanding and actions like: ➡ Being excluded from events or traditions ➡ Caregiver criticism ➡ Unrealistic expectations For strategies on how caregivers can approach conversations, situations, and boundary-setting with their loved ones, visit the Careforth blog: https://lnkd.in/eu4s94n8
