We began an ambitious fundraiser months back, hauling in a staggering $310,000+ in donations from Builders, our partners and vendors, and community members of Loganville. Then, on June 13, our own employees joined forces with Cooper Elementary staff, rolled up our sleeves, got our hands dirty, and finished up the final touches on the inclusive/adaptive playground perfect for special needs tykes. The kids are “adulting” at Builders! 👔💼🏭 Last week, parents brought their kids to Take Your Kid To Work Day at Builders. They attended intense strategy sessions complete with mermaids and crayons on the itinerary (courtesy of Katherine Kyle, Lexi Kearley, Todd Campbell, Shannon Moseley, and Marissa Navarro). They scribbled their fresh ideas onto our whiteboards, shared story time with our CFO Matthew Burnett where they learned about the glamorous and jet-set world of insurance 😴, and they taught us all the value of coloring outside the lines. Plus pizza. Tiny humans love the pizza. 🍕 At Builders, employees, family, and community matter.
