Our #HealthEquity team just had an incredible visit to @FeedingAmerica in Chicago! We delivered an impactful training on health equity, covering the essentials of equitable programs, interventions, and cultural competency. It was truly inspiring to connect with local equity champions dedicated to addressing nutrition equity and ensuring their communities have access to culturally appropriate foods. Equity work is challenging, but we had an amazing time building community and sharing insights. Huge shout out to our fantastic training team @jamiemeans and others for bringing this vision to life! #NutritionEquity #CommunityBuilding #EquityChampions #FeedingAmerica #culturalComptency Jamie M.

Take a moment to check in on your strong friends. They need help and support too, even if they don't say it! #MentalHealthAwareness #EndTheStigma

How are organizations handling organizing/hosting meetings in states that have anti-reproductive justice laws? In a recent article published by Nature Medicine, authors suggest that scientific and medical conferences should not be held in states that ban abortion, as such bans put the lives of women at risk. Currently, 16 of the 50 US states have now essentially eliminated access to abortion. Abortion is a part of healthcare and restricting access to abortion further exacerbates healthcare disparities. https://lnkd.in/g9E2uQtJ #HealthEquity #ReproJustice
