Ashiyanaa is thrilled to announce our partnership with The Personal Care Foundation of Montgomery County, Maryland! Last month, our Women's Support Group members received essential personal care packages, generously provided by The Personal Care Foundation. These packages included much-needed items like #menstrualpads, #toiletries, #sunscreen, and #disinfectingwipes – products that are often inaccessible to those experiencing financial insecurity. Did you know that these essential items are not covered by the SNAP Program? Many survivors struggle to access these products for themselves and their children, which can have a significant impact on their health, hygiene, and self-esteem. By providing these care packages, we’re ensuring that survivors have access to the essential products they need, promoting their overall well-being and enabling a dignified #menstrualexperience for those facing #periodpoverty. We are incredibly grateful to The Personal Care Foundation for their generous donation and support. Together, we’re making a positive impact on the lives of survivors!

🌟Exciting news! Early giving for Give Choose campaign starts today, March 5th🌟 Did you know? Give Choose is our community's largest day of giving. Help Ashiyanaa reach our goal of $3,000! Give Choose is a 24-hour day of giving organized by the Community Foundation for Loudon and Northern Fauquier Counties to benefit local nonprofits serving our community. Give Choose takes place all day March 19th, beginning midnight and ending 11:59 pm. You can make your donation up to two weeks in advance during Early Giving, which begins March 5th (TODAY!).
