Since this partnership began with Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance (CARRA) in 2016, it has led to more than $8.1 million in funding to support research into pediatric rheumatic and related diseases. Ten of this year’s 14 awardees are first-time recipients of a CARRA-Arthritis Foundation grant, illustrating how the program supports early investigators and fosters growth of the pediatric rheumatology field. https://arthr.org/4bTZBHy #Science #Research #JAAwarenessMonth #KidsGetArthritisToo #WeLiveYes

We had so much to celebrate at our annual #JAFamilySummit! As we commemorated the event's 40th anniversary, we also celebrated the strong camaraderie of our juvenile arthritis community. Thank you to everyone who joined us and to all of our volunteers, team and partners who made it possible. #KidsGetArthritisToo #MakeADifference #Community #Nonprofit #WeLiveYes

Thanks to the support of our partners at Alpha Omicron Pi Fraternity, every child and teen at #JAFamilySummit received a panda bear in St. Louis, MO this weekend. They also were able to participate in the Panda Clinic, a mock clinic where each child takes their bear through a series of stations that mimic many of the medical appointments they themselves experience such as rheumatology appointments, physical therapy, and treatments. We're grateful for their dedication to our juvenile arthritis community and putting a smile on everyone's face! #KidsGetArthritisToo #StrongerThanJA #JuvenileArthritis
