Grades must be posted to a funding request to avoid a recoupment action. Soldiers will receive an overdue grade notification 30 days after the course end date. If a grade is still missing 60 days after the course end date, Soldiers will receive a recoupment notification. Contact your school to have the grade posted or provide a transcript to your Army Education Center for a counselor to post the grade. The system will cancel the recoupment after the grade is posted. #ArmyIgnitED #TA US Army | US Army TRADOC | U.S. Army Combined Arms Center

Educating and Developing our Army’s Uniformed and Civilian Leaders
About us
Welcome to Army University! It is an honor to serve our Army’s Soldiers and Civilians as part of an amazing team of professionals. The faculty and staff across the Army University enterprise care passionately about the education of our force and work tirelessly to ensure our people receive the credits, credentials, certifications and degrees they deserve. Army University’s primary role is to educate and develop our Army’s Uniformed and Civilian leaders. We cast a wide net, providing academic governance across the entire Army education enterprise. We ensure the currency and quality of the education that our Soldiers and Civilians receive, both in live classroom environments and in distributed learning venues. Ultimately we return agile, adaptive, and innovative leaders to the Army’s formations and to the institutional force who are capable of solving complex problems in a complex, dynamic, and ever-evolving world. Leaders who will ensure our Army can effectively shape the environment, prevent conflict, prevail in large scale combat operations and consolidate gains against peer threats in contested operating environments. Our CSA’s number one priority is the Army’s people, and our team of teams is working hard on several exciting initiatives which will benefit our Army’s professionals. We hope this pamphlet will whet your appetite to learn more about Army University and what we are doing for our Soldiers and Civilians. We invite you to reach out to us directly, or to the Army University team with any questions you may have.

DSFM instructors LTC Arjean Smith, Mr. John Lorenzen, and Mr. Bill Knight, executed a mobile Theater Sustainment Planners Program (TSPP) for 17 students assigned to Army Sustainment Command at Rock Island Arsenal (RIA). This course is normally only offered as an elective during resident CGSOC. TSPP provides sustainment officers to the force who are educated and certified in the understanding of the operating environment, designing a theater distribution system, analyzing theater sustainment requirements, determining required capabilities, and planning for reception, staging, onward movement, and integration (RSO&I) operations. The ASC Deputy to the Commanding General chaired two of the three student led briefings, with the ACOS G3 chairing the ROC drill. The ASC CSM and G3 SGM also attended the student-led briefings. Officers completing the TSPP received ASI PS1 and certification as a Theater Logistics Planner. #CGSS #CGSOC #CGSC

Have you listened to AMSC’s Leader Up podcast? Now’s the time starting with the latest episode! Check it out where ever you listen to podcasts.
The latest episode of the Army Management Staff College Leader Up podcast features AMSC's Mr. David Howey and Mr. Gary Hisle who discuss Army Design Methodology and how Army Civilian Professionals can utilize it. The conversation covers how the methodology is a conceptual planning tool used to help resolve ill-structured or ambiguous problems by first defining the nature of the problem through problem framing, rather than being given a predefined problem or mission. Mr. Hisle explores the method’s three main steps and how important critical thinking is to analyze the current state, desired future state, and potential solutions by methodically working through the process in order to identify the real problem rather than solving the wrong issue. The most recent Warrant Officer Career College Train, Advise, and Counsel Officer Certification Course wasn't like any other. Four U.S. Air Force members completed the TAC course, paving the way for the service's establishment of their own warrant office commissioning program. The Air Force has not had a Warrant Officer Corps for more than 60 years. The graduation symbolizes WOCC's dedication to supporting joint missions and providing the all forces with the value of highly-trained and capable warrant officers. #EducatetoWin #TeamArmyU #ArmyWarrantOfficer #AWarrantForChange Combined Arms Center Fort Leavenworth | US Army TRADOC |

"It takes a village" means something a little different here at The Army University. Especially when it comes to ensuring our #CGSC students are kept medically ready during their time here. Recently, Munson Army Health Center professionals worked with the incoming class to conduct a medical readiness rodeo ahead of the next academic year. Collaborations like this one with the local medical facility provides vital support and readiness to those away from their normal units.
