About us
Apollo is based in Kennewick, Washington, performing Full Mechanical projects across the United States and around the world. Apollo employs over 2000 people, with annual revenues of over $600 Million. Apollo Sheet Metal officially began operations in 1981, building on a vision that originated in the mid-1970s by owner Bruce Ratchford. Today's #ApolloSwagSighting comes from this great group of kids from Kennewick who competed in a DI Competition in Kansas City, MO! DI is a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) based program with teams made up of elementary school, middle school, high school or college aged kids from around the world. Each year teams are given a list of problems that focus on specific STEAM elements and the team members, without direct involvement of parents or team leaders, come up with a solution to that problem and fine tune that solution over a 6 month period. The Inteligente Lobos are a team made up of 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students from Fuerza Elementary in Kennewick, WA. Despite this being the first year in DI for most of their team, the Lobos advanced all the way through district and state competitions and and by finishing 2nd at state, secured a spot at the Global Finals in Kansas City, MO. While the Lobos didn’t end up winning they did an awesome job and created strong bonds with their teammates while developing skills that will help them for the rest of their lives.

Welcome to Apollo! Name: Wayne Kenyon Division: Western WA Department: Apollo Solutions Group Job Title: Superintendent Tell us about yourself: I have been in the construction industry for more than 34 years. I have self-performed nearly every trade at some point as a GC. I have 2 grown daughters and one grandson and one granddaughter with another on the way. I enjoy all the Seattle sports teams however my passion has always been baseball. I am very much into cars, mostly older muscle cars. I am currently working on my '66 Chevelle SS. Also, have a 2015 Corvette that is great for relieving stress, it's impossible to drive and not be smiling. What brought you to Apollo: While searching for a new opportunity, I came across Apollo and the opportunity seemed like a great fit. After doing some research, when it came time to decide between several offers, it was clear that Apollo was the best fit. The company culture was clearly family focused and exactly what I was hoping to find in a new company. I couldn't be more excited about the opportunity in front of me. #BuildingPeopleWhoBuildGreatThings
