ADAMH recently hosted city and state officials to tour the construction site of the Franklin County Crisis Care Center. ADAMH would like to express gratitude to Columbus City Councilmembers Nick Bankston, Shayla Favor, Melissa Green, Emmanuel Remy, and the Columbus (Ohio) Division of Fire, as well as House Minority Leader Allison Russo, House Assistant Minority Leader Dontavius L. Jarrells, and State Senator Stephanie Kunze for joining us and for their support in bringing the adult-serving mental health and addiction crisis services facility to Franklin County.

Recently, a group of ADAMH staff were trained and certified in Mental Health First Aid. Mental Health First Aid, an early intervention education program from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, teaches the public how to identify, understand and respond to signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges. Special thank you to Mental Health America of Ohio for facilitating the training.
