There are quite a bit of tools available to analyze the data to uncover the trends/patterns and represent them in the form of charts. Some of them illustrate regarding the outliers which are deviations from the expected behavior/outcomes for the program. The patterns/trends observed for metrics can be useful in analyzing future forecast of metrics. Thus, the program level impacts/risks based on the data can be detected through by way of critical thinking and the data can used to correlate to the steps/decisions that need to be taken.
