I understand that efficient task prioritization is crucial for productivity and project success. Here are some strategies I always consider. I would create a Task list, choose a prioritization method (Eisenhower Matrix, MoSCoW Method, & Critical Path Analysis). I would also schedule tasks in a calendar and allocate time for each task based on priority. I would use Asana or a personal calendar to organize deadlines. Lastly, I would communicate progress to my team and adjust priorities where necessary.

Be proactive to minimize time on the objectives as well to be effective and successful with your goal. Engage everyone, team work is more effective!

As a civil servant and a compliance officer, the projects I coordinate are, in one sense, driven by the overlapping and at times divergent goals of each agency and organization with a stake in the project's outcome. That goal is simple and paramount: gain clearance for proposed affordable housing developments. Regulatory compliance is necessary and important. Yet-- in another sense, procuring funds is not the goal. It is only a means to our primary goal. As civil servants, our goal is to fight for our city's most vulnerable. San Francisco is for everyone and all humans deserve compassion. At MOHCD, our projects all have this same implicit goal: to serve our community and to fight for our city.
